Sloe Gin Fizz Recipe

The Philippines is the world’s largest consumer of gin. According to a 2012 report by The Economist, the average Filipino consumes 1.4 liters of gin per year.


  • 1 ounce gin
  • 1 ounce sloe gin
  • 3/4 ounce lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon simple syrup
  • 1 egg white
  • 2 ounces club soda
  • Lemon wedge, to garnish


  1. Shake the gin, sloe gin, lemon juice, simple syrup and egg white in a cocktail shaker with ice.
  2. Strain the contents of the shaker into an ice-filled highball glass.
  3. Add the club soda, and stir gently.
  4. Garnish with the lemon wedge, and serve.
