Green Devil Recipe

“Green Devil” was the common nickname used by Allied forces to describe German paratroopers during World War II.


  • 1 1/2 ounces gin
  • 3/4 ounce green crème de menthe
  • 1/2 ounce lime juice
  • 2 ounces club soda


  1. Shake the gin, green crème de menthe and lime juice in a cocktail shaker with ice.
  2. Strain the contents of the shaker into an ice-filled old-fashioned glass.
  3. Top with the club soda, and serve.
