In 2013, Costa Rica produced over 2.6 million metric tons of pineapple, the most in the world.
- 2 ounces white wine
- 2 ounces pineapple juice
- 1/2 ounce lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 3 ounces seltzer water
- Lemon wedge
- Shake the white wine, pineapple juice, lemon juice and sugar in a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Strain the contents of the shaker into an ice-filled highball glass.
- Top with the seltzer water, and gently stir.
- Squeeze the lemon wedge over the drink, drop it in, and serve.
