Hot Buttered Rum
India is the world’s largest producer of butter. In 2015, India produced over 5 million tons of butter, while the United States was second, with 830,000 tons.
Ingredients:
- 1 slice unsalted butter
- 5 ounces hot water
- 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon light brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 ounces dark rum
Directions:
- Combine the unsalted butter, 2 ounces hot water, granulated sugar, brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Add the remaining hot water and dark rum.
- Stir to combine, and serve.
