Purple People Eater
The Purple People Eaters is the nickname of the defensive line of the National Football League’s Minnesota Vikings of the 1960s and 1970s consisting of Alan Page, Carl Eller, Jim Marshall and Gary Larsen (who was subsequently replaced by Doug Sutherland).
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 ounces citron vodka
- 1/2 ounce blue curacao
- 1/4 teaspoon grenadine
- 1/2 ounce lime juice
- 5 ounces cranberry juice
- Lemon spiral, to garnish
Directions:
- Shake the citron vodka, blue curacao, grenadine, lime juice and cranberry juice in a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Strain the contents of the shaker into an ice-filled glass.
- Garnish with the lemon spiral, and serve.
