Maple Bourbon Smash Recipe

The Canadian Provence of Quebec is responsible for 75% of the world’s output of maple syrup.


  • 1/2 ounce maple syrup
  • 1/2 ounce orange juice
  • 1/4 ounce lemon juice
  • 2 drops Angostura bitters
  • Orange wheel
  • 2 ounces bourbon
  • 1 1/2 ounces seltzer water
  • Orange spiral, to garnish


  1. Combine the maple syrup, orange juice, lemon juice and Angostura bitters in an old-fashioned glass.
  2. Add the orange wheel and muddle ingredients.
  3. Add the bourbon to combine.
  4. Fill with ice and top with seltzer water.
  5. Garnish with the orange spiral, and serve.
