Mexico City is sinking at a rate of approximately 3 inches per year. The reason is that 70% of the city’s drinking water comes from an aquifer under the city, which is being pumped out at a rate higher than it can be replaced.
In the last century, parts of the city have sunk over 40 feet.
Ingredients:
- 1 ounce gold tequila
- 2 ounces cranberry juice
- 1 ounce orange juice
- 1/4 ounce lime juice
- Orange wheel, to garnish
- Lime wheel, to garnish
Directions:
- Shake the gold tequila, cranberry juice, orange juice and lime juice in a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Strain the contents of the shaker into an ice-filled glass.
- Garnish with the orange wheel and lime wheel, and serve.
