Creamsicle Cocktail
The British rock band Cream wrote the song, “Sunshine of Your Love,” after being inspired by a Jimi Hendrix concert they attended in January 1967. After Cream broke up in late-1968, Jimi Hendrix frequently played the song, as a tribute to Cream, reportedly unaware that the song was in fact written as a tribute to him.
Ingredients:
- 1 ounce vodka
- 1 ounce triple sec
- 1 ounce white crème de cacao
- 1 ounce heavy cream
- Orange wedge, to garnish
Directions:
- Shake the vodka, triple sec, white crème de cacao and heavy cream in a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Strain the contents of the shaker into a chilled cocktail glass.
- Garnish with the orange wedge, and serve.
