Yeast was one of the first domesticated microorganisms. Yeast occurs naturally on the skin of grapes and eventually led to the innovation and processing of grape-based alcoholic beverages such as wine.

Ingredients:

  • 1 ounce vodka
  • 1/2 ounce triple sec
  • 4 ounces grape juice
  • 2 ounces lemon-lime soda
  • Lemon spiral, to garnish

Directions:

  1. Combine the vodka, triple sec and grape juice in an ice-filled glass.
  2. Top with the lemon-lime soda, garnish with the lemon spiral, and serve.
