Sundowner

A sundowner wind is a potentially dangerous type of weather phenomenon that occurs in the Santa Barbara area of Southern California. It is an offshore wind that can have gusts up to 60mph, warm temperatures and low humidity. It can be especially dangerous during the area’s wildfire seasons.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 ounces brandy
  • 1/2 ounce Grand Marnier
  • 1/2 ounce orange juice
  • 1/2 ounce lemon juice
  • Lemon wheel, to garnish

Directions:

  1. Shake the brandy, Grand Marnier, orange juice, and lemon juice in an ice-filled cocktail shaker.
  2. Strain the contents of the cocktail shaker into a chilled cocktail glass.
  3. Garnish with the lemon wheel, and serve.
