Rum Cow Recipe

As of 2011, there were 260 million dairy cows in the world and nearly 9.8 million were reported in the United States. India reported the largest population of dairy cows, totaling 44.9 million.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 ounces light rum
  • 6 ounces milk
  • 2 teaspoons granulated sugar
  • Dash Angostura bitters
  • Dash vanilla extract
  • Nutmeg, to garnish

Directions:

  1. Shake the light rum, milk, granulated sugar, Angostura bitters and vanilla extract in a cocktail shaker with ice.
  2. Strain the contents of the shaker into an ice-filled lowball or old-fashioned glass.
  3. Garnish with the nutmeg, and serve.
