Quicksand Cocktail Recipe
In spite of the popularity of the subject in many classic Hollywood films, quicksand has a density of approximately 2 grams per milliliter, compared to the human density of about 1 gram per milliliter, concluding that a human sinking any further in quicksand than waist-level is impossible. Reported deaths due to quicksand are often due to other factors including dehydration or hypothermia.
- 1/2 ounce black sambuca
- 4 ounces orange juice
- Shake the black sambuca and orange juice in a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Strain the contents of the shaker into a cocktail glass, and serve.
