- 1 1/2 ounces silver tequila
- 1 ounce triple sec
- 3/4 ounce lime juice
- 2 lime slices
- 1 tablespoon coarse salt, to rim glass
- Rub the rim of a margarita glass with the lime slice.
- Apply the salt by gently rolling the rim of the margarita glass in the coarse salt.
- Shake the tequila, triple sec and lime juice in a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Strain the contents of the shaker into the prepared margarita glass.
- Garnish with the lime slices, and serve.
