Hot Coffee Alexander Recipe

Alexander Hamilton was one of the founding fathers of the United States and served as the first U.S. Secretary of the Treasury. Hamilton’s likeness is currently on the $10 bill, but since the 1860s, his likeness has appeared on more denominations of US currency than anyone else, including the $2, $5, $20, $50, and $1,000 bills.

Ingredients:

  • 1 ounce brandy
  • 1 ounce dark crème de cacao
  • 6 ounces hot coffee
  • Whipped cream, to top
  • Fresh grated nutmeg, to garnish

Directions:

  1. Combine the brandy, dark crème de cacao and hot coffee in a coffee cup.
  2. Top with the whipped cream, grated nutmeg, and serve.
