Homecoming

Homecoming is a tradition in the United States of welcoming back alumni to school, whether it be college or high school. While the origin of the first homecoming is contested, it is likely to have occurred in the late-1800s or early-1900s.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 ounces amaretto
  • 1 1/2 ounces Irish cream
  • Maraschino cherry, to garnish

Directions:

  1. Combine the amaretto and Irish cream in a mixing glass.
  2. Pour into an ice-filled old-fashioned glass.
  3. Garnish with the maraschino cherry, and serve.
