Blue Canary

Blue Canary Recipe

The Canary Islands are a group of small Spanish islands approximately 60 miles off the coast of Morocco. The islands were a popular stop for Spanish ships traveling to America during the reign of the Spanish Empire because of the prevailing winds from the northeast.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 ounces gin
  • 1/2 ounce blue curacao
  • 4 ounces grapefruit juice

Directions:

  1. Combine the gin, blue curacao and grapefruit juice in an ice-filled old-fashioned glass, and serve.
