Big Kahuna Recipe
The popularity of beach films in the 1960s led to the term “big kahuna” becoming associated with surfing culture. Often the best surfer on the beach being labeled, “the big kahuna”.
- 1 1/2 ounces gin
- 1/2 ounce triple sec
- 1/2 ounce sweet vermouth
- 2 ounces pineapple juice
- Shake the gin, triple sec, sweet vermouth and pineapple juice in a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Strain the contents of the shaker into an ice-filled lowball or old-fashioned glass, and serve.
