Applejack Sazerac Recipe

During the colonial period in America, Applejack was used as currency to pay workers for road construction, mainly in the New Jersey area.
Ingredients:
- 2 ounces Applejack
- 1/4 ounce maple syrup
- 3-4 dashes Peychaud’s bitters
- Apple slices, to garnish
Directions:
- Combine the Applejack, maple syrup and Peychaud’s bitters in a mixing glass with ice.
- Strain the contents of the mixing glass into an old-fashioned glass.
- Garnish with the apple slices, and serve.
