Applejack Sazerac

Applejack Sazerac Recipe

During the colonial period in America, Applejack was used as currency to pay workers for road construction, mainly in the New Jersey area.

Ingredients:

  • 2 ounces Applejack
  • 1/4 ounce maple syrup
  • 3-4 dashes Peychaud’s bitters
  • Apple slices, to garnish

Directions:

  1. Combine the Applejack, maple syrup and Peychaud’s bitters in a mixing glass with ice.
  2. Strain the contents of the mixing glass into an old-fashioned glass.
  3. Garnish with the apple slices, and serve.
